Cumbria gunman Derrick Bird was embroiled in a major tax investigation into a mystery £60,000 deposited in his bank account, according to a friend.

Fellow taxi driver Mark Cooper said the Inland Revenue was investigating Bird for the undeclared money, and the killer feared he would go to prison.

As you know, no one party got a majority, and as you know, the Lib Dems have done a deal with the devil to make David Cameron our new Prime Minister.

Not the best result...  but a coalition of the losers (which I would have preferred) would not have gone down well in rural England, I think.
